BLACK. ORIGINATORS. LEADERS. DOERS. (B.O.L.D.)
Black and African American team members shared insights on how the cannabis industry can play a more impactful role in driving positive change for Juneteenth. The B.O.L.D. ERG also shared education with Green Thumb team members throughout the year, with dedicated company-wide communications for key moments such as Black History Month and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
LGBTHC+ ALLIANCE
The powerful connection between cannabis and the LGBTQ+ communities was explored for Pride Month. LGBTHC+ collaborated with RYTHM and RISE Dispensaries to honor PRIDE month by supporting nine local grassroots LGBTQ+ organizations with $27,000 of unrestricted funding donations and additional in-kind donation drives.
SIEMPRE JUNTOS @ GTI
Latin@ team members shared their stories and provided inclusive language education for Hispanic Heritage Month. The group’s focus on spreading their message and creating an inclusive culture was also showcased through a fireside chat for members featuring a candid cultural conversation with Siempre Juntos leaders.
WOMEN @ GTI
The Women @ GTI ERG coordinated internal and external speakers for a monthly educational series for members covering topics ranging from mindfulness in the workplace to tips for filing personal tax returns. In March, the ERG partnered with RISE to share stories of trailblazing women in the cannabis movement and influential women at GTI as a celebration of Women’s History Month.
DANKABILITIES
The DANKabilities ERG partnered with our People Team to spread awareness and compassion around the topic of mental health throughout the month of May. The group shared company-wide emails in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, which included self-care tips, webinar recommendations, a mental health challenge, and curated resources, including the GTI Employee Assistance Program.
